Sonja Rogier, 49, passed away April 9, 2011. She was a resident of Whiteland. She was born July 25, 1961 in Trier, Germany.
She married Keith Rogier on June 5, 1987 and he survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Amanda Marie Rogier of Whiteland; son, Alexander Joseph Rogier of Whiteland; her parents, Ann and Ed Burton of Indianapolis and Bob and Linda Chapman of Florida; two sisters; Sandy Brewer of Indianapolis and Anna Chapman of Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.
Sonja was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church. She was an avid animal lover, including horses and dogs. She was adventurous and enjoyed hiking, mountain climbing, and working out.
A celebration of life service will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
