Charles Benjamin "Ben" Wolfe, 83, of Anderson, passed away on February 19, 2012.

Ben was born to Charles and Mary (Weir) Wolfe, in Detroit Michigan, on January 29, 1929.

He was an honorable member of our country's finest generation. He proudly served in the US Army.

He was a life member of the Freemasons and the Shriners, as well as a charter member of the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Ben enjoyed spending time with his coffee clatch in the mornings and his lady friends for lunch. He delighted in the smiles of his great nieces and great nephews. He loved auctions and antiques.

He will be missed by all who knew him; his family, his countless pen-pals and friends.

Survivors include his nephews, Peter Zabala of Canton, Michigan, Bryce Heugel of New Palestine, Indiana and Christopher Heugel of St. Joseph, Michigan; cousin, Dixie Kline of Anderson; and great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Wanda Heugel.

Per Ben's request there will be no services or calling hours.
