Mrs. Mary L. Adams

We will all miss Grandma Adams. She was a wonderful happy person. I will always remember all the good times we had growing up - Thanksgiving dinners at her house, making Christmas cookies and ornaments, Easter Egg hunts in her woods, going to Lake Monroe, playing pool in her basement, what a great artist she was, and many other memories. We will all miss Grandma Adams. She was a wonderful happy person. I will always remember all the good times we had growing up - Thanksgiving dinners at her house, making Christmas cookies and ornaments, Easter Egg hunts in her woods, going to Lake Monroe, playing pool in her basement, what a great artist she was, and many other memories. After she moved to Colorado, I remember taking her out to eat and she would always want to just get right to dessert instead of the main course. She loved her sweets! And, her famous saying in Colorado when driving somewhere was "there's not a tree in sight!" She was very special to me and my kids growing up and they have fond memories of her. I'm glad Grandma is finally at peace now after her long struggle with Alzheimers and hope she knows how much we all love her and will miss her until we meet again. I cherish the memories I have.

We all wanted to express our condolances in the passing of Mary. She was a wonderful person and the family dearly loved her. She was also a neighbor to Curt and Mary Boner for many years and was friends with her mother, Frances Pope. We really missed her when she moved to live with her daughter and family. Mary will be missed and she was a great friend, we knew her and Roy from Banta Church and Roy and George used to ride to work together.

I'll never forget all of the fun and joking around when the quartet (then later - trio) of Marcia, Bev and I practiced at Mary's house in preparation of singing at Banta Church or elsewhere for special occasions. She was always good-natured, kind, and always ready to help out with anything anyone needed and we missed her so much when she moved to Colorado. Mary was a beautiful person - inside and out - and we were all blessed to have known her. God bless her and her family; she's with the angels now.
