Mrs. Mayme Louise (Cain) Graves, 88, of Indianapolis died on February 17, 2012. She was born on June 7, 1923 in Tompkinsville, KY a daughter of Marion and Mary (Grider) Cain.
Survivors include a son David Michael Graves (Donna Sue) of Tompkinsville, KY, 2 daughters; Delma Joyce Elkins (Danny) of Greenwood, Betty Ann Rhoton (Elbert Jr.) of Greenwood, 3 brothers William "Carmen" Cain (Phyllis) of Indianapolis, Marion Cain Jr. of Tompkinsville, KY, Tim Lee Cain (Peggy) of Glasgow, KY, 2 sisters Jessie Tropoulos (Pete) of Frankfurt, KY, Mary Elizabeth Taylor (Jimmy) of Gamaliel, KY. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; Danny Allen Elkins (Carrie), Debbie Williams (Eric), Steven Elkins (Shelly), Tammy Walker (Todd), Kevin Rhoton (Sara), and 14 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Delmas Graves and siblings; George Kenneth Cain, Sarah Abbie (Cain) Kerr, Nellodean Dean (Cain) Groce, and Julie Evelyn (Cain) Bryant and a sister in law Juanita Cain.
Visitation will be at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Greenwood on Monday from 3-8 PM. A funeral service will be at Strode Funeral Home, 204 Columbia Avenue, Tompkinsville, KY on Thursday at 1 PM with a visitation at Strode Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 AM-8 PM. Burial will be Bailey Cemetery in Tompkinsville, KY.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Stroke Association.
